With Such Curiosity

What would the indie music scene offer to its listeners that would be somewhat different from the mainstream form? I am indeed curious, being exposed to what is popular according to the society, what sells, what becomes the standard; it is what we people know?
Is there really a great difference between the indie and mainstream music scene? It is all around us. It invades the globe slowly. Will it turn things upside down? Will it stir revolution to the ears of the people? Will it create change? These are some of the questions that we are still about to unravel. Yes, the scene might have taken domination many years ago but there are still things left under query.
